Want FLAWLESS Skin Without Breaking the Bank?

January 31, 2018

No matter our age or our gender, I think we can all agree that having healthy, soft, beautiful skin is something we all truly desire. Unfortunately, it can be extremely difficult to keep up with all these new, expensive products that promise a wide range of benefits for different skin types.

Today, I am here to share with you a home remedy that can benefit ALL skin types, yes that’s right, no matter if you have oily skin, dry skin, scarred, irritated or acne-prone skin, this home remedy will change your life.

I’m not going to lie, I was definitely skeptical about this until I tried it for myself! After multiple hours of online research and analyzing some of the most evidence based medicine, I am here to share with you the benefits of banana peels! 🍌

What could be in banana peels that make them so beneficial for MY skin?

Let’s start with the ingredients in banana peels.

🌟 Vitamin A - Has two main ingredients: carotenoids and retinol which is the active ingredient in multiple acne creams and spot treatments.

🌟 Vitamin B - A derivative of Vitamin B is Niacin (B3), which helps retain moisture of the upper most layer of the skin. This is a main ingredient in many ointments to help with dry skin.

🌟 Vitamin C - Has been proven effective against sun damaged skin.

🌟 Vitamin E - A natural antioxidant that reduces wrinkles and keeps the skin looking young.

🌟 Potassium - Decreased potassium levels cause skin cells to lose water; when water is lost, the skin starts to dry up and get flaky.

🌟 Zinc - Used to help speed up the wound healing process.

🌟 Iron - Oral iron supplements have been shown to decrease easy bruising when absorbed through the digestive tract, the research on topical use of iron is limited, yet promising to show benefits.

🌟 Manganese -  Helps even skin tone and decreases redness.

Isn’t it wild to think that something we usually throw away can do all this?

You may be wondering, if banana peels are so great, why haven’t I heard of them as the active ingredient in any of my products? Well the answer is simple, the drug and makeup industry wants you to buy their products, so they are not going to promote home remedies.

I found this 5 star rated product, retail value $16.50 for a 5 oz container. And you guessed it, the active ingredient is a banana peel! So save yourself some money and try this at home!

 Here’s how to use:

  1. Cut or tear a small piece of the banana peel to fit the area on your face.

  2. Place the inside of the peel on a clean area of your face that is inflamed, red, scared or broken out.

  3. Gently massage the peel on the skin for about 5-10 minutes or until the inside of the peel turns dark/brown.

  4. Let the residue sit there for 15 minutes.

  5. Rinse your face with warm water.

  6. You will see a difference within the first time of use, most “cosmetic and beauty experts” recommend doing this 3 times a day for 3-4 days but lets be real, no one has time for that when you are a full time student or a full time worker. I would recommend this regimen every night for 2 weeks for busy people.

So what will the results look like?

✅Removes dead skin

✅Calms inflamed skin

✅Unclogs pores

✅Reduces acne breakouts

✅Brightens skin - may even help with scars

✅Moisturizes & hydrates dry skin

✅Natural antioxidant helps with anti-aging

✅Protects against sun damaged skin

✅Tightens skin

Sounds to good to be true, huh? Well try it out and let me know what you think!

Tip: Green banana will not work, for best results use a ripe yellow banana
